When searching for books, you can start with the following search terms:

"Asia - History" covers the entire continent. This is a very general search term; you will probably need to limit it.
"East Asia - History" is about Japan, China, Korea and the Pacific Ocean countries.
"Southeast Asia - History" will discuss Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, etc.
"South Asia - History" covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and smaller countries.

You can also search individual countries when you want to be specific.
