Navigate to a company website to search for recent news releases and SEC Filings.

Often links such as 'About Us' and 'Investor Relations' can provide useful internal company information. Be aware that all information is from the company’s point of view.

FactSet
Use the search icon on the left to search by company name or ticker. Select company snapshot from the results. Features data and analytics on Company/Security Analysis, bonds, mutual funds, Industry Analysis, News and Quotes, and company screening.

Use the charting feature to create charts using the data gathered.

Use the FactSet Excel add-in for additional data functionality, available from a limited number of dedicated computers in the Duda Family Business Library that don't require an individual account.

Discover detailed company profiles, equity research, and peer comps.

Screen for companies using the companies and deals screener, to determine detailed peer groups.

Factiva
Click on 'Companies/Markets' across the top of the screen and then click on 'Company' to search for company profiles, competitor lists, key information, and links to recent news articles.

Gather essential company profiles, including financial data and a competitors list through a single search.

Company Filings

FactSet
Select Filings from the main menu or search by company name or ticker to see filings. Use the Filings Wizard to download multiple filing types and for multiple companies. Compare filings and use Blackline Now to find changes.

EDGAR
Search for company filings directly on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) site in the Search Filings tab. Tutorials and resources can be found under the heading "EDGAR Search Assistance."

Capital IQ
Under a company's page, select SEC Filings from News, Events & Filings to download a variety of reports including Blackline, which shows changes.
