Use the Show or Hide Sidebar button to quickly and easily insert securities, data fields and more into your spreadsheet.

Formulas in Excel

Provide intermediate to advanced Excel users flexibility to construct their own formulas and customize FactSet data in Excel. 

In the Excel Add-in, FactSet formulas contain the following options:

  • Insert Formula: Launch the FactSet Sidebar in Excel to create and edit formulas
  • =FDSTABLE: Add a refreshable table of FactSet's deep-sector data 
  • Series Lookup: Search for economic and financial time series
