- Original filmscripts and screenplays are primary resources which allow the study of character development, plots, and scenes. If you can locate multiple versions of a script, you can gain insights into the development of the film over time.
- While some well-known original filmscripts have appeared in print, most have never been published in any format due to copyright and complicated permissions. These sources are limited for international films.
