Foundation Directory Online Professional by Candid
Over 140,000 grantmakers (updated weekly). Information on previously awarded grants. Search recently filed IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF by keyword, grantmaker name, location. SMU network address required.
Find and apply for federal government grants. Contains information on more than 1,000 grant programs. Filter results by category, including "Law, Justice and Legal Services".

Faculty Research Grants
Funds faculty research in areas where prospects for external support are usually poor, or to conduct preliminary research, the results of which will be used as the basis of seeking funds from an external source, or to provide research support to new faculty at the beginning of their career.
Faculty Travel Grants
Funds travel to conferences held outside the continental United States, the cost of which is not normally covered by regular budgets (use research grant proposal format for non-conference travel)
