NLM Data Discovery
The National Library of Medicine's database providing access to datasets from selected NLM resources, including the Database for Disaster Medicine and Public Health, Toxmap (environmental health data), and the Supplement Label Database (DSLD).

The Paleobiology Database
Find fossil data. Choose "explore" to narrow by region, era, taxa or authorizer. Choose "download" to access data and select download file format. It has a walkthrough feature that helps you with your selections.
Protein Data Bank
Worldwide repository of information about the 3D structures of large biological molecules, including proteins and nucleic acids.
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Data
Find data in various areas: agriculture, climate, energy and more. Search by keyword, geospatial area or theme.
Cambridge Structural Database
Global repository for small-molecule organic and metal-organic crystal structures. Contains the results of over half-a-million x-ray and neutron diffraction analyses.
Data on the biological activities of small molecules. Search and download bioassay, compound and substance datasets. Search by names, synonyms or keywords.
Chemical structure database provides access to over 65 million structures from hundreds of data sources. Search by chemical name or structure. User-friendly search and retrieval functions make this a nice site to find, view, and download data.
Crystallography Open Database
Open-access collection of crystal structures of organic, inorganic, metal-organic compounds and minerals, excluding biopolymers. Browse data by journal name or date of publication. Advanced and structural formula searches offer more targeted results.
Earth and Environmental Data
National Center for Environmental Information (NCEI)
United States weather and climate data repository. Includes land-based, marine, model, radar, weather balloon, satellite, and paleoclimatic data.
National Ecological Observatory Network
Automated instrument, observational and remote sensing data on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Explore data by keyword, location, or theme.
Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE)
Well-described and easily discovered Earth observational data.
USGS Water Data
Find water use and water quality data for the United States. You can search for water data in various categories, including current conditions, surface water, ground water, water use, and water quality. EPA Environmental Dataset Gateway (EDG)
Data set records and geospatial tools from the EPA. Includes data on climate change, air quality, and environmental justice.
Led by the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities and the Penn Libraries. Houses reliable copies of federal climate and environmental data so that it remains available to researchers.
The Petrological Database. Access chemical, isotopic, and mineralogical data for rocks, minerals, and melt inclusions. Current content focuses on data for
igneous and metamorphic rocks from the ocean floor, specifically mid-ocean ridge basalts and abyssal peridotites; xenolith samples from the Earth's mantle and lower crust.

The High Energy Particle Physics Data (HEP) houses the data points from plots and tables related to several thousand publications, including those from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The Space Physics Data Facility helps to extend our science understanding of the structure, physics and dynamics of the Heliosphere through access to satellite data from various missions.
