JSTOR Constellate: Overview

JSTOR Constellate & Data for Research (DfR)

Constellate is a text and data analytics service from JSTOR and Portico. It is a platform for learning and performing text analysis, building datasets, and sharing analytics course materials.

Data for Research requests are served by Constellate. Constellate offers text mining of content from multiple platforms, built-in visualizations, an analytics lab, and text analysis tutorials.

Data for Research is a free JSTOR service available to anyone interested in mining data for their research project. It allows users to select and interact with content data in the JSTOR archive, including data from scholarly journal literature (more than 12 million articles), primary sources (like 26,000 nineteenth-century British pamphlets), and books.

Note: DfR is for requesting data, not data storage.
