Access Capital IQ Pro

• Data analysis for U.S. banking, financial services, insurance, & real estate industries

First Time Users

Capital IQ Pro is restricted to SMU students, faculty, and staff and requires an account.

• Apply for an account and a Business Librarian will review your request.
• Accounts expire upon graduation. 
• Capital IQ Pro cannot be used for internships or employment.

Excel Add-in

Capital IQ Pro users with PCs can download and install the Excel plug-in.

• Log into Capital IQ Pro.
• Select the S&P Capital IQ Pro Office Download under More and follow the prompts. 

Mac users: Excel plug-in not compatible with Macs.

Capital IQ Pro Academy

Log in with your Capital IQ Pro account and work through self-paced modules covering corporate valuation, ratings, banking, insurance, real estate, energy, and metals and mining certifications.
