DVDs can be viewed on any library computer with a disc drive. To play DVDs from other regions, check out the multi-region DVD player at Hamon Arts Library.
Hamon Arts Library’s audiovisual study rooms have multimedia capabilities including a widescreen monitor and a player for Blu-ray discs, CDs and DVDs.
If you want to borrow a film to show in class, request it in Library Search, and we’ll hold it at the library’s desk for you to pick up.
Streaming films are available in our streaming media databases. If we don't have access in our databases, you can request the film. Licenses for streaming films can expire, so verify we have access to the film each term you assign them. The Library Search record will have an expiration date under the link to the film.
We are unable to license or purchase Netflix or Amazon Prime films for classroom use. Netflix Original allows for educational screenings of documentaries.
Any copyrighted films screened outside an official course classroom require licensing and public performance rights, even if you do not charge admission.
