One last thing - if you discover that SMU Libraries doesn't have an article or book you need, feel free to use Interlibrary Loan (ILL). See below for how to use this service. SMU Libraries' ILL service enables you to get books and articles, which SMU does not have, from other libraries in Texas, the Southwest region, US, and beyond.

Using Interlibrary Loan at SMU

After you have searched the SMU Libraries' catalog and cannot find a book or article you need, you can use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request a loan of a book or article. Books will come to Fondren Library for pick-up and return. They may take a week or longer to arrive. Articles will usually come to your email within a week.

If you haven't used ILL at SMU before, you will be asked to register so that Interlibrary Loan has your name and email to contact you.
