Access Mintel Reports

Create a Personal Profile

SMU's subscription is restricted to current SMU students, faculty, and staff. To download report content, save searches, or export data requires creating a personal profile. You will use your SMU email address (@smu.edu format only) and create a password unique to Mintel. 

1. Access Mintel Reports.
2. Log in with your SMU credentials.
3. Accept the Academic Terms of Use.
4. Enter your @smu.edu email address and click the Next button.
5. Check for the Complete Your Registration email from Mintel and click the Validate me button to finish registering.  
6. You may need to log into Mintel with your new account again.
