Publishing & Scholarly Impact: ETDs

In collaboration, the SMU Libraries, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and the Office of Instructional Technology are pleased to announce that Southern Methodist University has launched an open access electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) program. This program will focus on distinct schools and departments on campus in a determined approach to a full ETD at SMU program. This program will allow the research, work and intellectual output of the university's student to truly a global academic community.

Program Benefits

The ETD at SMU program will not only give to the students and their research and work more visibility, more opportunity for engagement and interaction, it will also give to each department and to each school an open access recruitment tool that any prospective student can use.

Below you will find the Deposit Agreement Form, which must be submitted along with your thesis or dissertation, and also a submission tutorial.
