The DeGolyer Library is the main special collections library for historical materials at SMU. Its Reading Room is located on the third floor of Fondren Library Gray, directly across the quadrangle (and east) from McFarlin Auditorium.
Collections at DeGolyer are particularly strong in the history of the American West, and include such holdings as The Archives of Women of the Southwest and the Lawrence T. Jones, III Texas Photography Collection.
